Where & How the Rocky Patel Number 6 Cigars Are Made:

As mentioned, the Rocky Patel Number 6 cigars are made in the El Paraiso factory in Honduras. There are plenty of delicious cigars rocking your taste buds coming out of this factory to include another HUGE name in the industry, Plasencia. The wrapper on todays subject consists of a Honduran corojo, the binder is also Honduran, and the filler is a blend of Honduran Jamastran and Nicaragua jalapa. Translation? It’s a blend of some really delicious tobaccos!

The Rocky Patel Number 6 was introduced in 2019, and quickly began gaining attention amongst consumers and major publications in the industry. It was ranked as the #9 best cigar of 2020 by Cigar Aficionado magazine and also named as the #1 cigar from Honduras in 2020 by Cigar Journal.

Construction & Tasting Notes:

The Number 6 is covered in a dark tan wrapper with a clean looking oily sheen. It has two black, gold and white bands, with the primary band covering a large portion of cigar, but elegantly done. Firm to the touch and well capped, this cigar give you a great mouth feel. Give the Number 6 a cut and a few dry puffs later the flavors of light pepper, nut, wood, and earth resonate in your mouth. Now some like to tell you about the 1st, 2nd and 3rd “thirds” of a cigar but let’s be honest, most of us just light the cigar and smoke it. Over all this cigar produces a wide range of flavors from light pepper, cedar, a caramel sweetness, nuts and light cream.
