Handmade in Estelí, Nicaragua, at the impressive My Father factory, a toothy Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper embraces a hardy blend of premium Nicaraguan long fillers grown on select Garcia family estates and aged until exceptional smoothness is achieved.

Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial cigars are packed in simple but still elegant 20 count wooden boxes. A cream colored cigar band decorates each stick with silver and navy blue lettering on the front.

Cold Draw:

Aromas of dark cocoa, wood, and roasted coffee bean emanate from the foot before it’s lit and notes of chocolate and coffee bean are noticeable on the cold draw. 

Light It Up:

An effortless draw unleashes sweet and peppery notes. Coffee and leather dance across the palate with the beginning puffs as well as the My Father Cigars "signature spices" that you'll find in almost all of their creations. An incredible cigar for sure, one that you should NOT be skipping over when looking at the My Father selection in our humidor. Maximum air flow is achieved in these beautiful cigars due to all of the My Father Cigar creations being rolled in the "entubado" method/style. 

The entubar method is actually very labor intensive. While all the filler leaves are rolled into individual tubes themselves, there is a general order in which they are placed in the larger tube that is the filler of the cigar. Traditionally, the ligero leaf, the strongest of the ones going in the cigar, is placed in the middle. This leaf burns relatively slowly. The seco leaf, aromatic and spicy, also burns fairly slowly and provides balance to the cigar. The seco tubes go around the ligero. The last leaf, the volado is mild and burns very easily. This is placed around the seco leaves. Confused? Don't worry because all you need to do is smoke them, not roll them!
